Some of the finest musicians from the Basel jazz scene come together for an evening celebrating the timeless classics of the jazz big band tradition.

Drawing from the music of legendary composers and bandleaders such as Duke Ellington, Thad Jones, Mel Lewis, and Count Basie, the ensemble brings these iconic works to life with a fresh, dynamic sound rooted in the rich tradition of big band jazz.

The band brings together an international lineup of musicians from the United States, United Kingdom, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Belgium, Austria, and Portugal, reflecting the diverse and vibrant musical community at the heart of Basel’s jazz scene.
