Uruguayan drummer Juan Ibarra and Argentine pianist Ramiro Zayas present the music from their upcoming album Surin, together with a high-level band. Their compositions are clearly influenced by the culture of the Río de la Plata (the river connecting Argentina and Uruguay) while aiming to bring a fresh take on contemporary jazz.
